The APLMA Agency Conference was held on 12 March 2019 at the Marriott Hotel in Hong Kong whereby Madison Pacific’s Hong Kong based Managing Director, Mr. Jonathan Hatch, spoke on the panel: The Rise of the Independent Agent: Bank Providers vs the Independents.
There was lively debate between the Banks and the Independents as to why in certain circumstances an Independent Agent would be preferred over a Bank Provider.
The audience certainly enjoyed the friendly repartee between the panelists.
The conference was well attended by local and international participants whereby relevant topics relating to Agency, Fintech, LIBOR and expectations from an Agent were presented, debated and discussed.

Madison Pacific Singapore, hosted their annual Cocktail Party on November 28, 2018 at the Zafferano Italian Restaurant and Lounge located in the heart of the Central Business District in Singapore.
With more than 100 guests, the party kicked off at 6.30pm and guests were treated to a celebratory atmosphere of signature cocktails, free flow of beverages, exquisite red and white wine, and a fantastic butler pass laden with different types of hors d'oeuvres and stations.
This major celebration follows the new office opening in Singapore back in May earlier this year and celebrates the success of yet another growth year in Singapore. Guests were given the opportunity to build and foster relationships with its current clients and partners while establishing new networks.
Jonathan Hatch spoke at the IFLR Asia Capital Markets Forum 2018
Mr. Jonathan Hatch, Managing Director of Madison Pacific, spoke at the 14th Annual IFLR Asia Capital Markets Forum 2018 held on November 28, 2018 in Hong Kong. Jonathan was chair of the seminar ‘Maximizing impact in debt capital markets’, together with three other experienced experts from the financial investment sector in Asia, depicted a vivid presentation in relation to five major topics. They include the identification of key sectors and jurisdictions for investment returns, the comparison between public and private debt markets, the changes of documentation terms in 2018, discussion of refinancing and liability management and lastly, the latest developments taking place in the PRC.
Jonathan pointed out that the Asian debt capital markets have gone through some upheavals in the past year. The shrinkage in scale of Asian debt issuance, the shift from public debt market to private debt market, the changes in attitudes from foreign investors and the gradual influence of China’s deleveraging reform will all bring about challenges as well as opportunities to the debt capital markets in the future.

Madison Pacific in Singapore (MPSG) kicked off an exciting intimate evening of wine tasting on Wednesday, 29 August 2018 at their new office in the Singapore Exchange Centre located in the Central Business District.
MPSG hosted this informal, fun five course wine tasting experience, with wines presented by a local wine company, The French Cellar.
During the evening, The French Cellar introduced guests to a selection of interesting red and white wines produced from different regions in France. The wines were accompanied by a selection of hors d’oeuvres and artisanal cheeses. Guests were able to exercise their palettes and see the difference between the wines from the different regions with different grape blends.

The Judicial Manager of Guangzhao Industrial Forest Biotechnology Group Limited (the "Compan") refers to the Notice of Judical Manager of Creditors of First Meeting dated 13 July 2012 (the"Notice"), which was announced on SGXNET on 16 July 2012.
Reference is also made to the Company's announcement dated 4 July 2012 in relation to the entry by the Company into i) a conditional subscription agreement with Shi Jiangang and Sam Kok Yin in relation to their subscription of 0% secured convertible notes to be issued by the Company (the "Subscription Agreeement") and (ii) a debt restructuring agreement with certain unsecured creditiors of the Company (the "Debt Restructuring Agreement").
Further to the Notice, the Judicial Manager wishes to announce that such meeting was held on 30 July 2012 at 2.00pm and that the meeting unanimously resolved to approve the Statement of Proposal contained in the Judicial Manager's report dated 13 July 2012.
